Textile Printing Trade Show: Exhibit at Fast Textile

Textile printing is the fastest-changing sector at the trade show, which is why customers come to see the print quality and durability after washing with their own eyes—preferably on their own design.

This works to your advantage. If you’re selling a printing service or technology, you have three days to demonstrate the edge that your competitors can’t prove in a PDF. A print sample produced right in front of the customer leaves the exhibition hall with them and comes back as a sales inquiry.

A device in operation, prints on several substrates, and washed samples placed next to identical fresh samples. A hands-on comparison works better than the stated number of wash cycles.

The second topic is always cost-effectiveness: the break-even point between screen printing and digital printing, the cost of ink per meter, and the setup time for a short run. Calculate these figures before the trade show and have a range ready, because the question of unit cost comes up in almost every conversation.

Buyer Profile

Who buys textile printing on Fast Textile?

At the printing booths, you’ll encounter two different groups:

  • promotional and advertising apparel companies asking about small runs,
  • streetwear and e-commerce brands for whom on-demand printing is key,
  • sewing shops and manufacturers looking to incorporate embellishment into their own operations,
  • printing companies expanding their machinery fleet,
  • textile designers looking for a contractor to produce patterns by the meter.

Divide your offering and booth into two distinct sections: a printing service for those who want to outsource, and technology sales for those who want to print in-house. Visually separating these two areas significantly increases the booth’s effectiveness.

Print: Exhibitor Questions

  • Is it worth printing visitor patterns in real time?
This is the most effective form of presentation in this sector. The customer leaves with a physical sample of their own design and your contact information, which later results in a request for a quote.
  • How can you demonstrate the durability of the print at the booth?
Samples after a series of washes, placed next to an identical fresh sample. A side-by-side comparison speaks louder than any specification.
  • Should I list the cost per unit?
Yes, at least within the typical range of investment amounts. The question about the break-even point comes up in almost every conversation, and having a ready answer builds credibility and saves time for both parties.
